Caught in the Act

It is 12:30 a.m. and you are once again in my bed. You shouldn't be here, in the bed I normally share with my partner of 11 years. He would kick my ass if he knew. You will have to leave before he gets back from work. I swore this would not happen again. That this would be the end of it.Yet you've found a way back into my bed. To our bed. We've only known each other a short time but already you have me wrapped around your little finger.

You turn to look at me,fix your gorgeous big blue eyes upon me and smile.With that I melt. You'll have your way again tonight no doubt.

I am so distracted that I fail to hear the key turning in the lock and the footsteps ascending the stairs until it is too late.The bedroom door opens and I am guilt stricken.It is written all over my face.

My partner sighs,strides over to the bed and plucks you from my side,returning you to your cot. But I am sure that before mornings first light you will return to me for some night time snuggles after your 4am feed. Time is going too fast and soon these nocturnal visits will be gone so I will continue to indulge you for as long as I can.
